Wiki Addition Viewer: A Chrome extension to add insights to your Wikipedia experience
Adding Insights to Wikipedia Pages.
We want to add context to the Wikipedia pages for everyday users by exposing the history of the page they are reading. We are hoping that this tool gives them a good sense of how the Wikipedia article has changed over time.
Main purpose
Our tool helps users understand the additions to an article, and the relationship between page views and edits. Our extension highlights additions to the page between a specified date and the present and renders a graph of page views and edits during different time periods.
Audience
Everyday users: students, researchers, journalists or anyone who is curious, or wants to learn more about a topic. Go to the installation page and try it out!
